Donte S.

Donte S. currently serves as the interim director of business resilience, intelligence, and executive protection at Starbucks, a position held since September 2020, after progressing from the role of manager, senior in travel intelligence and safety, executive protection, and event security. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Security at Vox Media, LLC from June 2019 to September 2020, and working as a Manager/Senior Security Specialist focused on Risk Intelligence at the Gates Foundation from September 2013 to May 2019. Donte also has a background as an Intelligence Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency from March 2009 to August 2013, and as a Legislative Correspondent for the U.S. House of Representatives between December 2007 and February 2009. The career began as a Diversity Outreach Coordinator at the Rural Coalition in 2007. Donte holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish from Furman University and a Master’s Degree in Hispanic Cultural Studies from Villanova University.
