Previously, Michael held various leadership roles at Starbucks, including leading design teams in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions, where they successfully managed hundreds of projects and drove innovative store concepts. Michael began their career as an engineering aide at MSU Physical Plant Division and later worked as an associate interior designer at SmithGroupJJR, contributing to significant projects such as the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University in 1998.
