Mike Thacker

Mike Thacker is a trained economist with a PhD from the University of Oregon, where they also earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. They worked as an economist for Laurits R. Christensen Associates, Inc. and Amazon before transitioning to a leadership role in data science at Starbucks, currently serving as Lead Manager in People Analytics. Mike has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and PhD Candidate at the University of Oregon.
