Ryan Guthrie

Ryan Guthrie is an experienced government and public affairs professional currently serving as Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Starbucks since September 2025. Prior to joining Starbucks, Ryan held the position of Executive Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at American Beverage from February 2024 to September 2025 and was the Head of Government Affairs at Chipotle Mexican Grill between June 2021 and February 2024. Ryan's career also includes a decade at The Coca-Cola Company in Government Relations and a lengthy tenure as Chief of Staff for Congressman Baron Hill from May 1997 to February 2009. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Maryland.
