Ryan Ruby

Ryan Ruby is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in release engineering and infrastructure automation. Currently serving as the Engineer Lead for Release Engineering & Infrastructure Automation at Starbucks since October 2021, Ryan oversees the Azure DevOps-based CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management for retail technology. Prior experience at Microsoft from September 2002 to September 2020 includes roles as Senior Service Engineer for the Azure DevOps platform and various positions involving service architecture and system design, notably achieving significant cost reductions and system stability improvements. Earlier roles at Excell Data and Hewlett-Packard focused on system deployments and support for prototype servers, further enriching Ryan's skill set in virtualization and data management.
