Matt Fuller

Matt Fuller is currently the VP of Product at Starburst. Matt has over 10 years of experience in the software engineering industry.

Fuller started their career as a software engineer intern at Oracle in 2007. Matt then joined Vertica Systems in 2008, where they worked for five years until the company was acquired by HP in 2011. In 2013, they moved to Hadapt, where they worked for a year before the company was acquired by Teradata in 2014.

At Teradata, Fuller led several teams of engineers working on the open source Presto project. Matt also managed the product roadmap for the first year of the project, coordinated the rollout of global 24/7 Presto support, assisted with marketing activities, trained Teradata sales staff on Presto, and assisted with numerous pre-sales engagements. In August 2017, Fuller left Teradata to join Starburst as VP of Product.

Matt Fuller's educational career includes a Sc.M. in Computer Science from Brown University and a BS in Computer Science from Stonehill College. Matt also has a certification from the Pragmatic Institute in PMC Level IV.
