John Melone

John Melone is an experienced media operations executive with a career spanning over three decades, primarily at Starcom since May 1996. Currently serving as EVP of Agency Operations, John has expanded agency operations leadership and oversees globally distributed capabilities for Publicis. Previous roles at Starcom include SVP of Operations for the Analytics and Technology Team, where John founded a large centralized team dedicated to data and technology, and SVP of the Technology & Activation Group, leading digital ad operations. Earlier positions involved media directorships for significant clients including Sprint and P&G, where John managed strategic planning and marketplace negotiations. John began his career at Leo Burnett, contributing as a media buyer/planner and assistant for Procter & Gamble. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Media from St. Norbert College.
