Michael Ross

Michael Ross has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael is currently working at StarCompliance as the Director, Sr. Sales Manager since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Business Development at StarCompliance from February 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining StarCompliance, Michael worked at Greenwich Associates as an Executive Director from November 2017 to February 2020. Michael also worked at Finadium as a Managing Director for a brief period from April 2017 to November 2017.

In addition, Michael had their own company called Michael Ross Associates, Inc. where they served as the CEO from February 2003 to April 2005. Michael was responsible for market strategy for firms targeting institutional capital markets, as well as business strategy and sales outsourcing for software and information companies.

Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, Michael held the position of EVP Capital Markets at Thomson Financial (now Refinitiv) from May 1999 to December 2002. At Thomson, they also initiated a joint venture with prominent companies like Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Microsoft, and Thomson Financial to create iDeal (now Ipreo).

Before that, they served as EVP Sales & Marketing at PFN, Inc. from March 1996 to April 1999, and as Director of Sales & Marketing, Technical Data Division at Thomson Financial from March 1991 to March 1996.

Earlier in their career, Michael was the President of Paragon Public Relations from April 2015 to March 2017, where they were responsible for growing the company and delivering solid business results to clients.

Michael Ross attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1982 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, specializing in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration.
