Jesse Derris

Jesse Derris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles. Currently serving as President and Chief Strategy Officer at Orchestra since March 2024, Jesse is also the Founder and Chair at Derris, a position held since 2013. In addition, Jesse is the Managing Member at Amity Supply, an early-stage venture fund launched in July 2017. As an Advisor-in-Residence at Columbia University in the City of New York since 2014, Jesse contributes to entrepreneurship initiatives. Jesse holds board member positions at Starface World and Milk Bar, and has a background in communications, having worked as Senior Vice President at Sunshine Sachs and State Communications Director for John Kerry's presidential campaigns. Jesse earned a BA in Political Science and Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002.
