Oliver Thomas

Oliver Thomas is a technology entrepreneur with a background in video conferencing and VoIP. Oliver has over 25 years of experience in the industry, and has founded or co-founded three companies.

Oliver's first company, Madge Networks, was a Token Ring network products manufacturer. Oliver led the company's R&D group from 1986 to 1994, during which time Madge Networks grew from 4 to 50 employees and went public on NASDAQ.

In 1995, Oliver founded Calista, a VoIP startup specializing in interfaces to enterprise voice systems. Calista was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1999.

Oliver's most recent company, Codian, was a video conferencing startup that they founded in 2003. Codian was acquired by Tandberg in 2007.

Oliver currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at StarLeaf.

Oliver Thomas' educational career includes a MA in Theoretical Physics & Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and an Owner's-Director's Program in Entrepreneurship from INSEAD.
