Drew Pearson

Drew Pearson is the Managing Partner of Herbert Smith Freehills' Sydney office and works strategically with employers to address industrial relations challenges. With nearly 20 years in private practice, Drew has focused on industrial relations strategy and disputes while developing positive workplace cultures. Drew's experience includes a recent secondment with BHP, contributing to the establishment of the Strategic Projects Legal team, and they have served as a Non-Executive Director for Starlight Children's Foundation Australia since 2024. Drew holds dual bachelor degrees in Politics and History and Laws from the University of Notre Dame Australia, along with an Advanced Certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University and an MBA Essentials from The London School of Economics.
