Bill Long

Principal & Co-Founder at Starling

Bill Long has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. Bill started their career as a Summer Associate at Beacon Capital Partners in 2009. Bill then worked as the Director of Development at The Clarkson Group, where they oversaw the development and asset management of various hotel projects across the Southeast from 2005 to 2008. In 2010, they co-founded East Bay Capital and assumed the role of Principal. Finally, in 2012, they co-founded Starling, a seniors housing owner, operator, and developer, where they currently hold the position of Principal.

Bill Long completed their education at multiple institutions. Bill first attended Vanderbilt University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a major in Civil Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Construction Engineering & Project Management at The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2005. Lastly, from 2008 to 2010, Bill attended Columbia Business School, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Real Estate, Finance & Economics.
