Pascal Kaufmann

Pascal Kaufmann has a long and varied work experience. In 2001, they founded and served as president of the Student Research Opportunities Program (SiROP). In 2003, they became a consultant for Academic Clients and HighPotentials at MLP, and a PhD Candidate and Senior Researcher at the Universität Zürich. In 2006, they founded and served as president of the Starmind Association, and was also a Director of Private Banking at Julius Baer. In 2010, they founded Starmind, where they served as Founder and with Board representation. In 2017, they founded Mindfire and served as Founder and Group CEO. In 2018, they founded the AI Business School and served as Founder and Member of the Board.

Pascal Kaufmann obtained an MSc from ETH Zürich in 1998-2003 in the fields of Neurosciences, Biology, Neuroinformatics, Economics & Finances. During 2000-2001, they also obtained an MSc from Northwestern University in Neurosciences, Robotics, and Neuroethics. From 2003-2014, they were a PhD Candidate and Senior Researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the University of Zurich, studying Cyborgs and Robotics.
