Emily Sharp

Emily Sharp is an experienced underwriter currently working at Starr Insurance since April 2023, having previously held positions as an Underwriting Assistant. While also engaged as a freelance writer since October 2022, Sharp created and writes for Emily For President, a platform aimed at making news more accessible and engaging. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Acquisitions Editor and Associate Editor at Zibby Books and Zibby Mag respectively, as well as a Social Media Coordinator at Grayscale Movement. Additional roles include an Editorial Social Intern at Very Good Light and Junior Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. Sharp holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Emory University and participated in a semester study abroad program at King's College London.
