Fred Pugh

Fred Pugh currently serves as the Head of Cyber at Starr Insurance Companies since August 2022. Prior to this role, Fred was a Senior Cyber Underwriter at Markel International from January 2019 to August 2022, where responsibilities included managing relationships with major trading partners and underwriting complex risks across multiple jurisdictions. Fred's earlier experience includes positions as a Cyber Underwriter and Assistant Underwriter at ArgoGlobal from September 2014 to December 2018, as well as a summer internship at AXA XL in 2013. Fred holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from Durham University, earned between 2011 and 2014, and completed early education at Bedford School from 1999 to 2010.
