Jose Ribeiro

Jose Ribeiro serves as the President for APAC and LATAM at Starr Insurance since May 2020, where Jose also holds the positions of Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Risk Committee. Concurrently, Ribeiro is an Insurance Lead and Guest Lecturer at Imperial College Business School, specializing in Risk Management. As a founder investor, Ribeiro chairs the board of Yurtle, an Insurtech MGA, and serves as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Senior Independent Director at Hansard, a global Life Insurer. Prior roles include Managing Director and Board Member at AM Best, Group Head of International at Argo Group, CEO of Generali Brasil, and various executive positions at Lloyd’s of London and Willis Towers Watson. Ribeiro's educational background includes an MSc in Applied Mathematics and Actuarial Science, an MBA in International Management, and a Leadership Program from London Business School.
