Michael Baschwitz

Michael Baschwitz is an experienced Reinsurance Director currently working at Starr Insurance, where they manage the Treaty process and oversee a team responsible for coding Treaties and maintaining intercompany agreements. Previously, they served as Assistant Vice President at Gerling Global Reinsurance Corporation of America and held positions of increasing responsibility at Zurich Insurance Group, including Vice President. Michael has also been the Lead Manager of Claims Reinsurance Department at Starr Insurance, where they integrated operations across various departments and utilized data analytics for performance measurement. They hold a BA in Economics and an MBA in Management Systems from Fordham University and Fordham Gabelli School of Business, respectively.
