Paul Darby

Paul Darby is an experienced insurance professional specializing in claims management within the Energy and Construction sectors. Currently serving as Claims Manager - Technical Risk at Starr Insurance Companies since September 2017, Paul leads large and complex international claims and represents the company on the Joint Energy Claims Group. Prior to this, Paul worked at XL Catlin as an Energy & Construction Claims Adjuster, managing significant losses and mentoring graduate trainees. Additional experience includes roles as Engineering Claims Adjuster at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and as a Defendant Case Handler at Groupama, along with earlier work as a Case Handler at Shoosmiths. Paul has been a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute since 2011 and holds the ACII designation.
