Richard Kladerman

Richard Kladerman has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Director of the Claims Department for Marine Liability at Starr Insurance since September 2019. Prior to this role, Richard held various positions at Navigators Insurance Group—The Hartford from 2011 to September 2019, including Senior Complex Marine Claims Specialist and Litigation/Liability Specialist. Richard's responsibilities involved overseeing multiple national accounts, investigating incidents, and advising defense attorneys on litigation strategies. Richard’s career began at Empire Insurance as a Claims Adjuster (1994-1998) and includes significant roles at ACE Group and Gallagher Bassett. Richard earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Brooklyn College between 1983 and 1988.
