Scott Matheson

Scott Matheson has a long work history, starting in 1986 with the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicle Services. Their role there involved gathering and developing business requirements for system replacements and installations. From 1993 to 1996, Matheson worked at TRECOM Business Systems as a Technical Director/Project Manager, responsible for managing multiple projects and aligning technology solutions with business goals. Scott then joined Chubb Insurance in 1996, holding the position of Assistant Vice President, Information Technology. In this role, Matheson developed and defined departmental missions, managed budgets and staffing, and led a senior leadership team. At Starr Companies, Matheson worked as the Senior Director of Enterprise Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence from 2014, later transitioning to Chief Data Officer in February 2016.

Scott Matheson attended Harvard University in 2004, where they completed the Program on Negotiation for Senior Executives. In 1991, they enrolled at DeVry University - Phoenix and obtained a degree in Computer Information Systems, which they completed in 1994. Prior to this, from 1982 to 1984, they attended The College of New Jersey, where they studied Music Education.
