Sean Chen

Sean Chen is an experienced insurance executive with a comprehensive background in underwriting and management across multiple regions. Currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer for Starr Insurance since January 2009, Sean also holds the position of Regional Manager for Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. Previous roles include Senior Underwriter for Property Energy Construction at Starr Insurance, Executive Underwriter for Property at Tokio Marine Kiln, and Manager of Commercial Lines at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, among others. Sean's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Business from Penn State University and additional studies at Kansai Gaidai University.
