Susan Vella

Susan Vella is a highly experienced tax professional, currently serving as the Head of Tax at Starr Insurance Companies since June 2020. Previously, Vella held the position of Senior Tax Manager at EY from January 2017 to May 2020 and worked as a Tax Manager at Primary Group from April 2014 to December 2016. Vella's extensive background at EY also includes roles as Senior Tax Manager and Tax Manager between March 2005 and March 2014. Earlier in Vella's career, experience as a Tax Advisor at Allianz Australia Limited was gained from 2002 to 2005. Susan Vella's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with first-class honours and a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting, from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
