Timothy Kennedy

Timothy Kennedy is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in loss control services, currently serving as Vice President and Director of Loss Control Services at Starr Insurance since August 2009. In this role, Timothy manages a global marine loss control team and oversees all loss control activities supporting underwriting staff across various lines of marine insurance. Previous positions at Starr Insurance include Assistant Vice President and Loss Control Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing loss control for cargo, hull, and liability lines, as well as providing support for underwriting capabilities. Timothy's career began with diverse roles, including marine surveyor at CSL Global and various cadet positions with multiple maritime companies. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Operations and Technology from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
