Winnie Z.

Winnie Z. currently serves as Associate General Counsel for International Insurance and Regulatory Operations at Starr Insurance, a position held since January 2015, with prior experience as Assistant General Counsel in the same division. Responsibilities include overseeing international legal and regulatory matters as well as licensing for multinational insurance operations. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Counsel focused on transactional, regulatory, and product development issues for U.S. insurance operations, and as an Attorney at Clyde & Co, where representation of insurance companies in complex disputes was key. Winnie Z. also completed a judicial clerkship at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from Syracuse University.
