Lori Plants has extensive work experience in the field of university and residence services. Lori began their career as a Community Assistant at Slippery Rock University in 1999 before moving on to become a Graduate Assistant in Residence at the same institution in 2002. Lori then served as an Assistant Director for Residence Life at the University of Mary Washington from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2014, Lori held various roles at Old Dominion University, including Assistant Director for Residence Education, Interim Director for Residence Education, and Assistant Director of University Conference Services. Since 2015, they have been working as a Project Manager at StarRez / StarNet Systems.
Lori Plants attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Secondary Education Social Studies. From 2002 to 2004, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Student Personnel in the same university.
