Matthew Baumgartner

Matthew Baumgartner has a diverse work experience with a focus on technology and leadership roles. Matthew currently serves as the Chief Technology and Product Officer at StarRez, a global provider of student housing and residential community management software. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer at PropertyMe, the largest cloud-based property management software in Australia and New Zealand.

Matthew also has a strong background in IT and infrastructure solutions. Matthew worked at Servcorp for several years, where they held various positions including Global Chief Information Officer, Head of Business Technology, and Senior Manager - Technology Strategy and Architecture. In these roles, they were responsible for managing teams, budgets, and portfolios of systems and applications.

Earlier in their career, Matthew worked at Office Squared as a General Manager and Technical Lead, where they played a pivotal role in monetizing proprietary billing and provisioning technology in the commercial real estate sector.

Prior to that, they worked at Getronics as a Senior Technical Consultant and Technical Consultant, leading the design and implementation of Unified Communications solutions and contributing to significant revenue growth.

Matthew began their career at Dingo Blue as an IT Solutions Consultant.

Matthew Baumgartner completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Leadership, Innovation, Growth, and Transformation from AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Information Technology, with a specialization in Software Engineering, from Southern Cross University from 1999 to 2001. Matthew'sundergraduate studies include a degree in Computer Science, also with a focus on Software Engineering, from the University of Newcastle from 1998 to 1999.
