Danny Brown

Danny Brown has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Danny started their career as a Business Analyst Intern at Signpost in 2012. Danny then moved on to work at Gravity Payments, where they initially served as a Financial Analyst from February 2013 to July 2014. Subsequently, they worked as a Finance Manager at Gravity Payments from July 2014 to February 2015, leading departments such as Accounting, Risk & Underwriting, and Cash Advance.

Following their time at Gravity Payments, Danny joined Porch as a Data Analyst in February 2015. In this role, they utilized data to provide strategic insights and assist business leaders in driving long-term growth. Danny developed dashboard views, automated reporting, and financial models for forecasting business performance.

In 2016, Danny joined Casper as a Senior Data Analyst. Danny managed an analytics pod and implemented high-impact models, automation, and strategic analytics initiatives. Danny also overhauled the BI stack, automating reporting processes and democratizing data access across the company using tools like Redshift and Looker.

Most recently, Danny has been working at Starry, Inc. since April 2017. Danny initially served as a Manager of Data & Analytics before being promoted to Director in July 2018. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Business Operations & Data, a role they started in August 2019.
