Founded in 2017, STAR's Tech is a South Korea-based climate tech company addressing some of the planet’s most pressing environmental challenges. Our mission is to turn waste into opportunity—leveraging invasive starfish to create eco-friendly solutions that support climate adaptation and reduce carbon emissions. Rather than treating starfish overpopulation as a burden, we transform it into a platform for sustainable innovation.

Our innovations tackle global issues while reducing reliance on harmful practices:
∙ Eco-friendly de-icing solutions including ECO-ST, made from starfish bones, offer 166% better snow-melting performance than rock salt, 99.2% less corrosiveness, and 99.3% less concrete damage, significantly reducing soil salinity and earning carbon credits for lowering emissions.
∙ Penellagen™ collagen, extracted from starfish skin, is the world’s first natural collagen capable of penetrating into the dermal layer, providing advanced benefits for anti-aging, skin-repair, and regenerative healthcare applications.
∙ Liquid fertilizers, sustainably produced from starfish byproducts, feature balanced NPK levels, customizable formulations, and beneficial amino acids that promote healthier soil and crop productivity.

By turning invasive starfish into innovative, sustainable solutions, STAR's Tech restores balance to marine ecosystems and provides practical tools for reducing environmental harm.
At STAR's Tech, we turn challenges into sustainable value. Join us in creating a greener, more innovative future for the planet.
