Mark Modla is an accomplished BI Support Engineer, currently serving as Team Lead at HCLTech in Hungary since August 2019. With extensive expertise in optimizing Talend ETL loads and providing technical support, Mark leads a team of over 10 professionals to address complex technical challenges within the Talend platform hosted on AWS. Previously, as a Tech Lead, Mark was responsible for the architecture of an ETL platform serving more than 300 users, managing extensive documentation, training sessions, and strategic communication with leadership. Earlier roles included foundational work in ETL processes and support at various levels. Prior to HCLTech, Mark worked as a Librarian at SZTE Klebelsberg Library, focusing on academic research in AR/VR, managing scientific data, and assisting students and faculty. Mark holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Szeged.
