Peter Molnar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in reputable companies. Peter worked as the HCL-Starschema Data Engineering & AI Practice Director at Starschema since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Maintenance Program Manager and Group Chief Data Officer at MOL Group, where they established the data governance, analytics, and advanced analytics approach across all business domains and locations. Peter also led the international arm of GE's IT Leadership program as the VP&CIO of Global Operations & Leader of the GE Hungary Digital Hub at GE. Additionally, they held roles such as VP, Acting Corporate CIO Russia & CIS, International IT talent program head, and VP, Global IT Operations Leader & Europe CIO, Power Generation (P&W) at GE. Before their time at GE, they worked at British American Tobacco in various roles including Regional PMO, Europe, Head of IT and PMO, Ukraine & Moldova, and Regional Sales Manager. Peter Molnar has a strong background in IT management, project management, and business consulting.

Peter Molnar completed their undergraduate education at the College of Finance and Accounting in Budapest from 1995 to 1999. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Finance and Enterprises from the Finance and Enterprises Faculty, specializing as a Chartered Accountant. Additionally, in 1995, they attended Technische Universität Wien for a short period to study Telecommunication. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 1992 to 1997. Here, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Certified Electric Engineering with a focus on Communication Networks and Software-technology Faculty. In 1997, they also attended LUT University for a summer program in International Technology and Management.
