Aleksei Plotnikov

Aleksei Plotnikov has significant work experience in various roles related to site reliability engineering, service engineering, and database administration.

Aleksei currently holds the position of Team Lead, Site Reliability Engineering at Starship Technologies, where they have been working since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at the same company from April 2019 to May 2022.

Before joining Starship Technologies, Aleksei worked at Microsoft, Skype Division, where they held the position of Senior Service Engineer from September 2016 to April 2019. Aleksei started their career at Microsoft in January 2012 as a Service Engineer and worked in that role until September 2016.

Aleksei also gained experience as a Database Administrator at Skype, where they worked from June 2010 to January 2012.

Aleksei began their professional journey at Ericsson in July 2009 as an IT Administrator and worked in that role until June 2010.

Prior to Ericsson, Aleksei worked at Elcoteq, where they held the positions of IT Administrator from May 2008 to July 2009 and IT Technician from November 2006 to May 2008.

From 2003 to 2007, Aleksei Plotnikov attended TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and System Engineering.
