Ann Hanson

Ann Hanson is an experienced professional in the field of consulting, currently serving as the Vice President of Consulting at Start Early since September 2007. In this role, Ann has successfully launched and leads a mission-driven practice focused on creating high-quality and equitable systems for young children and their families, collaborating with public sector and advocacy leaders nationwide. Prior to this position, Ann held various roles, including Director of Advancing Quality, Senior Manager of Research & Policy Initiatives, National Projects Manager, and Program Associate. Ann's earlier experience includes serving as a Development and Finance Consultant for Community Roots Charter School, an Evaluation Consultant for Chicago Public Schools, and Coordinator of Foundation and Government Relations at John G. Shedd Aquarium. Ann holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
