David Burt

David Burt is the Head of Evidence and Learning at Start Network, a position held since March 2016, where responsibilities include ensuring robust evidence, analysis, and feedback systems to assess the organization's effectiveness and impact. Previous roles include monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning management positions at Save the Children UK and World Vision UK, alongside consulting work at Gardens for Health International. Additionally, David has experience as a Programs and Evaluation Fellow at Single Stop and as a Swimming for Safety Programme Officer with Hue Help, focused on drowning prevention in rural Vietnam. A graduate of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with a Master’s in Public Health, education also includes degrees in French, Spanish, and teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Sussex and Universidad de Cádiz.
