Michael Y. Liu, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO). Currently serving as Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities since February 2011, Michael has progressed through roles from Associate to Vice President and Director within the same firm, demonstrating a strong track record in trading. Prior to Guggenheim Securities, Michael worked at Citadel LLC as an Analyst in Omnium Knowledge Management from July 2008 to February 2011 and gained experience as a Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates in 2007. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, earned between 2005 and 2009.
