Kyle Rood

Kyle Rood has a diverse work experience. Kyle is currently the Co-Founder and problem solver at Start Right Foods, a company that supplies Waffle Slider Breakfast Sandwiches to retailers nationwide. Prior to this, they served as the Head Coach at St. Louis Blazers Track Club from 2015 to 2020. In 2014, Kyle co-founded and served as the President of Talariant, a company that developed a more efficient ophthalmic preoperative preparation antiseptic. Kyle also worked at the University of Missouri as a BioDesign Commercialization Fellow, where they refined and commercialized novel technologies in the field of veterinary medicine. Additionally, Kyle was an Engineering Fellow and Photoacoustic Flowmetry Researcher at the University of Missouri. Kyle has also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Engineering Summer Camp Counselor.

Kyle Rood completed their education at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Kyle obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degrees, they obtained several certifications from the University of Missouri. In May 2015, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Life Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In June 2014, they also received a Commercialization Fellowship in BioDesign and Innovation.
