Michael T. McRae

Michael T. McRae, PhD, has extensive experience in mental health and program strategy. Michael T. currently holds the position of Chief Program and Strategy Officer at START Treatment & Recovery Centers. Prior to this role, Michael served in various leadership positions at NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, including Acting Executive Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner. Michael T. has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. With a background in clinical psychology, Michael has a wealth of experience in providing trauma-informed care and developing mental health programs for justice-impacted populations, schools, and community organizations.
