Kurt Schaerer

Kurt Schaerer has a strong background in leadership positions in the engineering, designing, and fabricating of natural gas compression and processing equipment. Kurt has held roles such as VP Operations at Startec Compression & Process and Startec Service, General Manager at Enerflex Ltd., and General Manager of Canadian & Northern USA Operations at Toromont Energy Systems. Kurt has also served as Engineering Manager and Product Manager at Toromont Energy Systems, Senior Project Engineer at Toromont Process Systems, and Project Engineer at Lock Process Systems and J.H. Lock & Sons. Their experience includes overseeing operations, profitability, people, safety, and quality, supporting growth in domestic and international markets.

Kurt Schaerer pursued their education with a strong emphasis on engineering. From 1984 to 1987, they attended the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they also attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) where they studied Engineering Science Technology, although the exact duration of their enrollment is unknown.
