Andrew Cohen is the Founder and CEO of Brainscape, an innovative web and mobile education platform established in 2010, utilizing cognitive science to enhance learning efficiency. In addition to leading Brainscape, Andrew serves as a Startup Mentor to young EdTech companies since 2016, providing guidance on product development, market strategies, and fundraising. Previously, Andrew taught Business Metrics Fundamentals at General Assembly from 2011 to 2019, contributed articles for Entrepreneur Media between 2014 and 2017, and mentored startups in the Techstar EdTech Accelerator from 2013 to 2015. Andrew's early career included roles as an eLearning and Management Consultant at Satori Consulting and as an eLearning Analytics Consultant for the United Nations, following work as an Economic Development Specialist at The World Bank and an International Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Andrew holds a Master's degree in Education Technology from Columbia University and dual BBA degrees in Economics and Finance from The University of Georgia.
