Andrew Cohen is the Founder and CEO of Brainscape, a web and mobile study platform leveraging cognitive science to enhance learning efficiency, a role held since 2010. In addition to leading Brainscape, Andrew serves as a Startup Mentor at StartEd, advising EdTech startups on product development and growth strategies since 2016, and previously provided mentorship at Techstars in 2013-2015. Andrew has also contributed to education as an instructor at General Assembly from 2011 to 2019, teaching Business Metrics Fundamentals. A seasoned writer, Andrew authored numerous articles for Entrepreneur Media between 2014 and 2017. Prior to these roles, Andrew held consulting positions focusing on eLearning and management, worked on analytics for the UNDP, and contributed to economic development at The World Bank. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Education Technology from Columbia University and a dual BBA in Economics and Finance from The University of Georgia.
