Hunter Strassman

Hunter Strassman, CPA, CISA has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience in various roles. Hunter currently serves as the VP of Finance at StartEngine. Prior to this, they worked at AlphaFlow as the Director of Accounting & Finance and later as the Controller. Hunter also held the position of Senior Financial Controller at KARBONE and Assistant Controller at ACT Commodities. Hunter began their career at Grant Thornton LLP, where they worked as a Senior Associate in Risk Advisory Services and as an Experienced Tax Associate in Financial Services. Hunter also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Baruch College and held leadership positions at Alpha Epsilon Pi. Hunter obtained their Bachelor's degree from Bentley University.

Hunter Strassman, CPA, CISA holds a Masters of Science degree in Taxation from Baruch College, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Hunter also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley University, obtained from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2019, Notary Public from the New York State in April 2018, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from AICPA in December 2016, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in 2016. Hunter has also obtained certifications in the financial industry, including Series 7 Registered Representative and Series 24 - General Securities Principal.
