Founded in the beginning of 2017, StarterHacks was formed to disrupt the hackathon model. With the intense focus on competition during hackathons, learning loses focus. StarterHacks creates a culture of learning and collaboration between students of different skillsets.

Since then StarterHacks has grown to become the world's largest beginner-focused hackathon and has worked with various organizations to make tech more inclusive space.
