K. Nathaniel Tucker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2014, they worked at Facebook as a Data Scientist, where they designed and implemented a new credit product, resulting in a significant increase in revenue. K. Nathaniel also created dashboards for fraud and credit analysis. In the same year, they briefly worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.
In 2015, Tucker joined Microsoft as a Program Manager and was responsible for developing the data-and-insights pipeline for the Microsoft Office Data Science team. K. Nathaniel designed an anomaly detection and experimentation framework for Office and successfully demonstrated it to a large audience, leading to its adoption by the company. During their time at Microsoft, they authored documents and websites to educate other team members on the new framework.

Nathaniel played a key role in formulating metrics, data collection, and building a dashboard that provided insights on the Android ecosystem to the executive team. K. Nathaniel analyzed massive amounts of data to inform feature and product decisions.
In 2017, Tucker joined Vicarious AI as a Researcher, contributing to research efforts in the field of artificial intelligence. The following year, they became an Instructor at the University of San Francisco, where they shared their expertise with students.
Starting in 2016, Tucker worked as a Lead Instructor in Data Science & Analytics at General Assembly, where they taught and mentored students in data science. K. Nathaniel continued in this role until 2019.
In 2017, Tucker co-founded Clientelligent, a company that specialized in building AI models for financial salespeople. Clientelligent was later acquired by Canoe Financial in 2022.
Finally, in 2018, Tucker joined Nebula Genomics as the Chief Technology Officer and held this position until 2019.
