Rick Spence is a seasoned writer, speaker, and consultant specializing in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership. As the President of CanEntrepreneur Communications since January 2005, Spence has also hosted the Startup Canada Podcast since February 2020 and serves as the Senior Editor for Corporate Knights. Previously, Spence contributed to the National Post as a National Entrepreneurship Columnist from January 2007 to November 2018 and held the role of Director at Startup Canada from May 2015 to June 2018. Additionally, Spence co-founded Connectinc.ca, which focuses on enhancing business networking. With a background in publishing, Spence was the Vice President of Rogers Publishing and held leadership positions at PROFIT Magazine and the National Magazine Awards Foundation. Spence holds an Honours BA in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor and has undertaken studies at York University and the University of Toronto Schools.
