Sergio A. Escobar serves as the CEO and Managing Director of BCF Ventures, a Canadian Corporate Venture Capital Fund focused on early-stage technology startups in North America and Europe. Additionally, Sergio is the Managing Director of Lalotte Ventures, which invests in seed-stage companies in emerging technologies, and an Associate at Creative Destruction Lab Montreal, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Supply Chain. Sergio also plays a significant role as a Director on the Board of Startup Canada, promoting the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and has held various positions in startup acceleration and mentorship with organizations like The Founder Institute and Techstars. With extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship programs, Sergio co-founded Guabira Meat Industries and has a diverse educational background including studies in business administration, strategic planning, and engineering.
