John Kent

John Kent is currently the Director at Startup Haven. Prior to this, they were a Senior Technical VFX Artist at High Moon Studios from November 2020 to February 2022. John has also worked as an FX TD at MYTH VFX from May 2018 to November 2020, and at CoSA VFX from January 2017 to June 2017. John was also the Co-Founder and CEO of LotStocks from December 2016 to May 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an FX TD at CBS Digital from November 2016 to December 2016, and at Gradient Effects from August 2016 to November 2016. John also worked as a Houdini FX TD at Luma Pictures from October 2015 to August 2016, and as an FX TD at LOGAN & SONS from June 2017 to April 2018.

John Kent attended Savannah College of Art and Design, where they earned a BFA in Visual Effects & Technical Direction. John also attended Blue Valley Northwest High.
