Lowry Curley is a scientist-entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience advancing human biology through innovative platforms that integrate 3D tissue engineering, bioelectronics, and AI analytics. As the founding CEO of AxoSim (now 28bio), they transformed academic research into leading biomimetic neural organ-on-a-chip technologies, collaborating with major pharmaceutical companies and driving the company's growth from a university spinout to a recognized industry leader. They have also held roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Antwerp and Tulane University, where they co-founded AxoSim, and serve as a mentor and advisor in various health and life sciences initiatives. Curley holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Clemson University and advanced degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University.
