Roberto Formia

Roberto Formia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fintech and digital innovation sectors. Currently serving as a Mentor for the FinTech & CyberSecurity Accelerator Program at Startupbootcamp and a Steering Committee Member for the FINTECH LIGHTHOUSE HUB at CeTIF since 2020, Roberto has also held various leadership roles at Gruppo Banca Sella since 1999, including Head of Digital and Innovation. In this role, responsibilities encompass managing the fintech and digital payments department, driving innovation strategies, and nurturing stakeholder relationships. Previous positions include Commercial and Financial Manager and Account and Financial Manager, where attention was focused on developing commercial opportunities and enhancing client relationships. Early career experience includes roles as an IT Project Manager at Gruppo Banca Sella and as a Systems Analyst and Software Developer at I.E.S. srl. Roberto holds an Executive MBA from Hult Ashridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Administration and Organizational Sciences from Università degli Studi di Torino.
