Andrew Mao

Andrew Mao is a seasoned entrepreneur and expert in machine learning and product management. As the Co-founder and CEO of Parsnip since May 2020, Andrew aims to simplify the learning process of cooking. Concurrently, Andrew is involved in the AI Series/P24 Cohort at StartX, a nonprofit accelerator in Silicon Valley. Previous experiences include serving as a Product Manager and Scientist at CTRL-labs, and a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Aarhus University. Andrew's research background includes positions at Microsoft and Harvard University, culminating in a PhD in Computer Science from Harvard and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
