Chi Zhang is the cofounder and CEO of ZettaBlock, leading efforts in developing open and trustless AI infrastructure since February 2022. In addition, Chi serves as an entrepreneur and mentor at StartX, a startup accelerator for the Stanford community. Previous experience includes product management at Databricks, machine learning and product roles at dotData, and conducting machine learning research at Gilead Sciences. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Statistics, a Master's in Economics, and a Master's in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a BS in Mathematics and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo. Chi has also taught various statistical courses and provided consulting services during academic tenure.
