Eric Sokol

Eric Sokol is a distinguished Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, serving as Co-Chief of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery since September 2005. In addition to the academic role, Eric Sokol co-founded AVA in December 2016, focusing on innovative solutions to combat air pollution, a major global health threat. Eric Sokol also holds the position of Professor-in-Residence at StartX since January 2017 and has previously worked as a Stanford Biodesign Faculty Fellow. With experience in women’s health innovation through Sokol Medical, Inc., which developed minimally invasive solutions for common conditions, Eric Sokol's extensive medical training includes a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University, a residency at Northwestern University, and a fellowship at Brown Medical School.
