Michael Florea

Michael Florea is an accomplished professional with a strong academic foundation and entrepreneurial experience. Currently serving as a Cohort at StartX since June 2024 and as co-founder and CEO at Olden Labs since June 2023, Michael has demonstrated leadership in the biotech field. Previous roles include a Foresight Fellow at the Foresight Institute in January 2024 and recognition as an Emergent Ventures Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University in November 2022. Michael completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology/Biological Sciences at Harvard University, where study spanned from September 2016 to May 2023, following a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology from ETH Zürich completed in January 2016.
